A Chinese restaurant lauded by the Michelin Guide is set to open in Marbella in June.
China Crown, which has been operating in Madrid for years, will set up shop in the Don Pepe hotel over the summer period.
The eatery is dedicated to recreating the opulence of the cuisine enjoyed by Imperial China.
According to the Michelin Guide, favourites include mouthwatering bao buns, dim sum, Yuxiang-style Chinese aubergines, and spicy diced chicken with chili and cashews in a Sichuan sauce.
Another standout dish is its lacquered Peking duck, praised for its exquisite preparation and presentation.
In Madrid, China Crown features decor inspired by the Far East, creating an ‘intimate and elegant atmosphere that enhances the dining experience.’
The restaurant is operated by siblings Maria Li Bao and Felipe Bao.
