A ‘very worried’ family have launched a desperate appeal to track down a missing teenager in Spain.
Louenn Caous, 15, entered Spanish territory on his black moped on May 6, and has not been seen since.
His mother said in an appeal that he was involved in a motorcycle accident in France, and believes he has run away after becoming ‘scared’ that he was in trouble.
She wrote: ‘My 15-year-old son Louenn has been missing since April 5, 2025.
‘We live on the Italian border and have been searching for him throughout southern France and Italy.
‘On May 6, 2025, the French-Spanish border police informed us that he drove his black SYM scooter, registered AJ-523-XX, to Perthus on the night of April 5-6.
‘We have been searching for him throughout Spain since…
‘He was in a motorcycle accident in France, thought he was responsible, became frightened by police retaliation, and fled, leaving his phone behind.
‘If you see him, please discreetly take a photo and tell him to text his parents because we’re terribly worried, and he’ll have no problem coming back.’
